Working on the baby room!

We have finally gotten started on the baby room! Anna, Mom, and Bonnie came over to help me decide exactly what to do (I keep changing my mind) and we got started!
We got the bottom half of the room painted with one coat of brown paint, and the top half of the room with white paint. Once it dries I'll go over any spots that need touch up, tape off and paint stripes on one wall, and I'm doing a 'border' of different sized polkadots on the other three walls. It's looking good so far!

28 week photo

28 Weeks! (5/11/2008)

26 weeks!

As of today, I have 98 days until my due date! How exciting, and kinda scary!
Congrats to my friends Robbie & Dave, they just had their little boy Alexander. And Travis and Ashley had their daughter Tessa!
My 'photographer' has been gone on the nights I usually take my photos, so it's been a month since the last one. But here is my week 26 (plus a couple days) photo!

So baby Tice is getting much much stronger...I feel him very often throughout the day, and he's especially active in the evening - or when I'm trying to sleep at night. We're pretty sure he's practicing his wrestling moves already.
Last night I was laying in bed reading, and he was in full force - so much so that I looked down at my tummy and saw it bulge out every few seconds! I called Ian in, and we just laughed while baby did flips inside me. The bulge would start on one side of my tummy and move over to the other side. Hilarous. And so cool. I can't believe I have four months to go....usually, it seems like the last 6 months have gone so fast, but then I wonder how much BIGGER I'm going to get, and how much STRONGER is baby going to get? He might be kicking through my stomach soon! I forgot to take my 24-week pictures last night, but I'll get them taken soon.

Belly update...

Not a whole lot new to talk about...but my belly is definitely getting bigger! I was at Target the other day and a little boy (3 years old, max) pointed at my belly and said, "Baby!!" It was pretty cute. The nursery is coming along veeerrryyyy slowly. We have both been so busy we just haven't had time to work on it. And this month, I am out of town for a week and Ian is out of town for at least two weeks. So maybe we'll get more done in May!

Baby Boy!!

I knew it all along! I've had so many dreams about our baby being a boy, but everyone else thought it was a girl....well we had our ultrasound today and he's definitely a boy! You couldn't miss it! :) We are so excited and happy! He looks great, currently weighs 10 ounces. (Then how have I gained 10 pounds....??) Here are his first photos! He was moving around a lot, it took them a long time to get all the measurements because he wouldn't sit still!
